UNDER THE GUN | MAIN TITLE SEQUENCE

This title sequence for director Stephanie Soechtig / producer Katie Couric's documentary on gun violence is a visual journey through the history of the NRA, from it's humble beginnings as a rifle club to one of the powerful lobbying entities in Washington.  It superimposes their trajectory with the rise of mass

shootings in the US, and the political efforts to curb it. It's an unsettling timeline that all too clearly illustrates the relationship between these forces and the results of their codependency.
