U.S. 36 Raceway is an independent drag and circle track located just outside Osborn, Missouri, and has attracted racers of all vintage and stocks for the over 40 years. It hosts several regional races and runoffs and also frequently opens its gates for practice runs and tune-up sessions.

I spent a day at start line of their 1/4-mile strip shooting modified and stock racers in heat races, with an interest in capturing not just the raw power and force of these machines, but the drivers, support crew and track staff that make the races possible.
